Veda Saptaham held at Shri Shankara Matam, Kanchipuram

With the Blessings of Their Holinesses Pujyasri Shankaracharya Swamijis, Veda Saptaham was held at Shri Kanchi Kamakoti Peetham Shri Shankara Matam, from 6 to 12 April 2012. The Saptaham was done by Mahamahopadhyaya Brahmashri Mullaivasal Krishnamurthy Sastrigal. Their Holinesses Pujyasri Jayendra Saraswathi Shankaracharya Swamiji and Pujyasri Shankara Vijayendra Saraswathi Shankaracharya Swamiji blessed the gathering with Anugraha Bhashanam. The participating scholars received Sanmaan and vidyarthis received certificates from the benign hands of Pujyasri Acharya Swamijis. A unique feature of the Saptaham was the Sanskrit Dramas staged by the participants.

A large number of Vedic Scholars and Veda Vidyarthis participated in the Saptaham. Similar Saptahas were held in Mylapore, Nanganallur, Velachery and Bangalore.
